Welcome, I hope you enjoy this small collection of my art work.



I have allways been interested in sketching and the like, primarily as a small boy of tanks and aircraft!



My art teacher Mrs Atkinson, was forever trying to get me to draw or paint still life, but I am afraid that bowls of fruit did much interest me then, nor does it now.



Since retiring I have taken up painting, and you will find my efforts a mixture of those early boyhood influences coupled with my interest in the elegance that the pre war period brought to peoples dress and life styles. Very often with a touch of spice!

I apologise that some of the photography is poor, but some of the art work is framed up and some suffer from a reflection.

New horizons and a book!

 A some of you might know I have now written a book and its in the process now of being  Published by Austin McCauley 

Its  a book of my journey over fifteen years  as a volunteer reservist with the two regiments and one corp.

I was married  and it was being married and the need for more money, that in the first instance drove me to join.

if you decide to buy it thank you very much and sincerely hope you will not be disappointed.
